This Member Training dives into one of the most useful new capabilities in ChatGPT and Claude: Skills. Think of a Skill as an SOP for AI. Instead of re-explaining your preferences and processes every time you start a new chat, you can teach AI how you want a task completed once, save those instructions, and reuse them whenever you need them. The training walks through creating Skills from scratch, improving them over time, and combining multiple Skills into much larger workflows.

You’ll see practical real estate examples, including creating a personal writing/voice editor, building a Fair Housing review process, using Skills with connectors such as Gmail and your CRM, and combining several Skills to act more like a virtual assistant or employee. The session also includes a preview of the upcoming AI Studio Market Update tool, including market reports, newsletters, social content, and ways to incorporate RPR/MLS data.

Important Notes

You do not need to be technical to create Skills. Much of the process can be done simply by describing the task you want ChatGPT or Claude to remember and letting the AI build the Skill for you.

Skills become more valuable over time. If you correct the AI or change how you want something done, those decisions can be incorporated into the Skill so the workflow continues improving.

The bigger opportunity is combining Skills + Connectors. Once AI knows how you want a task performed and has access to the appropriate tools, you can begin building much larger automated workflows instead of prompting AI one step at a time.
